        The field of view through spectacles-mounted devices has been typically evaluated and illustrated using perimetry, though it is different from the perceived scene (i.e., retinal image) and often fails to represent important aspects of the field of view and visual parameters such as spatial distortions, dimming, or reduced contrast. We developed a photographic depiction method to record the monocular field of view effects of the devices at the right angular size and then displayed them to scale using virtual reality (VR) head-mounted display (HMD), thus demonstrating binocular visual confusion effects for unilateral fitting..

        Jae-Hyun Jung博士的重点研究方向为光学或电子视觉辅助与人体视觉的结合。他建议把人体视觉观念中的理论应用于提高视力,尤其是用于视野缺损患者的视野扩大棱镜眼镜以及为盲人提供的视网膜或皮质植入等视觉假体。他曾开发许多3D模拟展示、显微镜和成像系统。他在首尔国立大学获得了电气工程博士学位,在哈佛医学院进修博士后,发表过超过35篇经同行评议的期刊论文并获得过美国和韩国的5项专利。
